About the Society

Forthcoming events
(see Diary for details)
The Kingston and District Chamber Music Society (KDCMS) was founded in 1954 to enable amateurs in South-West London to play chamber music. We have approaching 300 members and membership of KDCMS will provide you with opportunities to meet and play with others, whether at home, or at one of our popular monthly concerts.

The annual cost of membership is modest - currently only £15 per annum.  We have no restriction on playing ability. The spectrum between our members ranges from those with many years of playing experience to those new to chamber music.

If you would like to play, or even only to listen to, a wide variety of chamber music, this could be of interest for you.

Further information about KDCMS can be found by browsing these pages or by completing the form below to request further information. You can alternatively email us directly at

Apart from the Autumn Outing, for which we have a provisional date of 2 October, no events are currently planned for 2021. We will arrange concerts and other events when Covid restrictions allow.
